Why is our eco soy wax good to use?
Soy wax is a vegetable wax derived from soybeans. Most of the world’s soybeans are grown and harvested in the Midwestern United States (Illinois, Iowa, and Indiana). While all candles emit some black soot while burning, candles made from soy wax burns cleaner and results in less soot. Soy wax also burns cooler which means that you can enjoy your soy wax candle for generally 30-50% longer than a paraffin candle and with much better scent.
Vegan, sustainable and biodegradable. The eco soy wax we use is a wax made with 100% soy and soy-based additives and is natural. The fact that this wax is biodegradable, makes it super easy to recycle and reuse the glass jars. The decision to keep the candles their natural color is intentional too. While adding harmful ready dye drops or dye chips and coloring to the wax may look aesthetically pleasing, it is just another added chemical that is being released in your home. For the limited amount of candles and melts we do dye for sale or special request orders, we dye them naturally, using herbs, spices, flowers or other botanicals to get your perfect color keeping your candle chemical free and safe to use around your family and pets.
